This is one last shot of NS 136 as it rolls through downtown Alex City. In the opening shot, I'm focused on the Alex City Fire Dept. which is housed in the second Central Of Georgia Depot. This depot was built and payed for by the City of Alexander City in the late 1950's as an incentive to get the CofGa Railroad to tear down the original depot that sat right in the middle of the street on the opposite side of the tracks. The City wanted to straighten the road and create more parking, so they built the new depot and gave it to the CofGa!
